What is Pietas Home Support?
Pietas Home Support is a small Calgary-based service providing a reliable, familiar person who can help with the little things around the house.
The focus is practical, non-medical support designed to help older homeowners remain comfortable and independent in their homes.
Pietas (pee-AY-tahs) is a Roman virtue centred on devotion and responsibility to family and community.
Founding Client Pilot - $99/month
One scheduled 60–75 minute home visit each month
Help with several small household tasks
A basic home and seasonal check
Basic technology assistance
Help identifying or coordinating other service providers when needed
A brief update to a family member after the visit, if requested
Month-to-month participation during the pilot
Examples of Things I Can Help With
Changing furnace filters and accessible light bulbs
Tightening loose handles and other simple hardware
Moving boxes, patio furniture, planters, or seasonal items
Basic furniture assembly
Weather stripping and other minor household maintenance
Donation or recycling drop-offs
Light seasonal yard or property tasks
Setting up or troubleshooting printers, TVs, phones, Wi-Fi, or other basic technology
Helping with small jobs that can be difficult to find help for
Helping arrange a qualified tradesperson when a larger repair is needed
